Hi, does anyone know how to go about getting a place on a science/medical research project for a month or so?

I'm a medic, and have jst completed my second year. I was jst wondering if anyone knew how i can get a place on such a research project ne thing neuro/pharm related or some sort of internship, i know its a bit late in the year...bt i m not sure where to start off? does ne1 have ne ideas...thnx ppl :D

Geekie V, she's talking about doing research, not being a test subject.

Asker, check out the neurobio faculty at a nearby university. Look at what projects they do. Come up with your own related ideas and then email a researcher telling him/her you are interested in his/her work. Propose an idea or project. Give a timeline.

Or try a local research hospital or non-profit group.

Did you not hear about the medical trial that went drastically wrong?? I would advise against such an idea if you value keeping your fingers and toes......please read the link and proceed with caution.
