A simple hoem test is to rub a quarter agenst your cheek, if any lines or color has rubbed off on you skin, your iron is low. There are more medical prosedure, but this is a simple home test to give you a pilinary idea.

when you go to donate blood they do an iron check before taking your blood. If your iron is low they can't take your blood. I say this from experience and also because it is a free way to find out if your iron is low.

go see your doctor he can have blood work done for you and that will tell if it is low you do have to be careful cause you can have a stroke when your levels are low...
