once they're in heat it means they are ready to mate. If you don't want her to get preggers keep an eye on her and don't let her out alone.... they can smell that **** for miles, or if you do want to breed her you should have had a stud already and leave them alone in a room. It doesn't take long.

as soon as she goes into heat the dog can try to get pregnant, but if the dog is still young then I would wait for the dog to go into heat a few more times before getting her pregnant.

I will say the same thing this time. When you do not know the very basics about breeding maybe you shouldn't be doing it. This is the EASY part!

That's it.
Unlike humans, being able to conceive is visible. If you can see she's in heat she can get pregnant.
