Arizona???? He's got some of the ILLEGALS whining!!! The article says, "The five men knew their walk across the Arizona desert could end with the border Patrol swiftly returning them to mexico, but they never imagined they would be stuck in a county jail for more than three months, under an Arizona immigrant smuggling law, that allows the customers ( the ILLEGALS themselves) of human traffickers to be charged as conspirators to the crime." The five, among the other 48 people charged as conspirators, told the A.P. they KNEW they were not supposed to sneak across the border." Supporters said the conspiracy prosecutions were necessary to hold the customers of smugglers accountable, because the federal government hasn't done enough to fulfill it's responsibilities to enforce immigration laws."
ILLEGALS come on over to Arizona,we'll send out the WELCOMING committee, headed by Sheriff Joe!!!

I love Joe Arpaio. I wish we had a sheriff like him here. At least he is doing something. I thought it was so funny when I saw him on Lou Dobbs arresting illegal Mexicans and he said, "They want a free ride, I'm giving them a free ride to the jail!" lmao Too bad all the law enforcement can't do it. I wish he would run for President. He would be better than that joke we have up there in the white house now.

I have supported and elected Sheriff Joe two times now since I have my voting ability intact. I agree with what he is doing. Illegal immigrants and coyotes should be warned before they come to Arizona that they will not get a free ride anymore. But, rest assure, those hardworking abilities of theirs are put to good work on the Sheriff's chain gang program, along with the green bologna and pink shorts. You think twice about committing a crime... Sheriff Joe for PREZ or Governor...

We have a great sheriff and amazing deputies. We have a police scanner.....so I know this first hand. WE pick up county dispatch as well as city.
Talk about AMAZING and LOYAL.....these guys do everything from corral cattle that pose a traffic hazard to rescue children from burning homes.
Our sheriff......never boasts of his works.....he just does them. Our sheriff gives credit to his deputies and they reflect that EVERYDAY. Our sheriff doesn't have a TV show or color his inmates underwear.....but he has a handle on things and his jail is not a playground.
Our sheriff doesn't make headlines....he doesn't have to....just like all the other hard working law enforcement officers in the United States, they just do their job to the best of their ability and they do a rather good job at that.
You can keep Sheriff Joe......I am glad he is doing a good job for you. I will stick with mine.....he isn't policing the United States.....he is just working for his county.....a job he was elected to do and we appreciate that.

I HAVE a sheriff like Joe as a matter of fact it IS sheriff Joe. Sheriff Joe erects something called "tent city" which is a huge fenced off area with tents for the overflow of the sheriffs arrests. They are made to wear pink underwear and you can often see them doing work in the old chain gang fashion. Here is Arizona the sheriff is a legend. (most Arizona sheriffs are). When his inmate complain to him about the conditions he says only one thing. "don't come back if you don't like it here". He has already been re-elected.

I have great regard for Sheriff Joe and have for quite awhile now. You wouldn't believe how many illegals are here in Alaska. We never hear a word of anything ever being done. Just think if there was a Joe in California, New Mexico, Texas there wouldn't be such a problem. GO JOE!!

Jose (Joe) Arpello is a 2nd generation Mexican American, proud of his citizenship, like many other mainstreamed Americans of hispanic descent. Mr. Arpello is also another dutifully performing the responsibilities required of the job he is elected to do: enforce the law as is expected of any law enforcement official in this country.
The libertine press had a field day several weeks ago regarding this information. What we should all want is a white house administration having the same public official work ethic, dutifully taking direct action at enforcing the laws of this great nation, not just giving lip service. While the the vis a vis critical mass reached is the result of many administrations, will the notoriety of this story be enough to polarize in the White House; or will we continue business as usual? In an election year, the jury is out.

Sealrborder: You just don't learn, do you? What part of GOI (get over it) do you not understand? Just remember, when you dish, don't duck!
Joe Arpello is in Pima county.
What we didn't say is your Joe Arpaio was the child of immigrants from Naples, Italy. His mother died during childbirth; his father had little interest in raising young Joe, whose upbringing was left to whatever family members were willing to take him in. As a result of his father's abandonment, Arpaio spent his childhood being shuffled back and forth between different families.
This Joe is still trying to feel get attention! Sounds familiar? Is it any wonder that in his warped effort "to institute equality between the men and women" prison sentences, he created an all-female chain gang! The 73 year old's actions of constructing a tent city jail, the pink panties, the 1996 death of inmate Scott Norberg, the death of Brian Crenshaw is evidence of his mental psycho attitudes of man's inhumanity to man. Brian Crenshaw was a blind inmate beaten to death by Arpiao's guards.
It all fits in. The pink hat in your avatar is understandable when the offspring of Arpaio exemplifies the learned agressive dark behavior of her parent. You just gotta be his kid!

Not me.
What have we here? More selective posting? Does it make me a Mexican if I disagree with you and tell you this 73 geriatric renegade is nothing more than a publicity hound.....since when should we applaud a rogue cop? Get to know him:

As of this writing, his latest ploy to get in the national newspapers with some "tough sheriff ink" is putting juvenile offenders on the chain gangs. Joe Edgar Arpaio thinks somebody is sure to object loud enough to catch the attention of Brokaw or O'Reilly of the major networks. This Italian-American is a coward killing Americans!

When are the owners of the local businesses going to start being arrested for hiring these people? They are just as aware of the law as the illegals pouring over the border.
Can you fault those who want to feed their families when they are shown a bowl of food next door?

I LOVE Sheriff Joe. I wish there were more like him. Make people in jail earn their keep and not get all the cushy crap they dont deserve like cable, etc...yeah thats how jail should be. Hell yeah he rocks! Plus why not let the illegals earn their keep till they get deported back to Mexico? Couple months under Joe's roof may make them rethink trying it again.

Hurray for Sheriff Joe Arpaio! Hurray for all of his deputies. Since these criminal trespassers demand to have the rights of American citizens, let them also be subject to the law the same as an American citizen. Oh, I forgot...they want to pick and choose which laws they are subject to. My bad..
