Place a reddish orange candle in a Hurricane vase and place the vase in the center of an autumn leaf wreath. Use a round mirror on the bottom which will reflect the candlelight.

how about filling rose bowls (without the metal grid on top) full of apples and putting a church candle in the middle of the bowl, if they are tall vases people will not be able to see over the top of them. Or use gold fish bowls with goldfish swimming in them, not traditional autumnal things but orange is a great colour for a fall wedding!! You could put a plate on top of the bowl with flowers on so that people don't try an put things in the water.

My favourite inexpensive fall centrepiece is a nice deep orange cloth folded like an old fashioned paper accordian fan sticking out of a drink glass with leaves with gold sparkles glued on them spread around the base of the glass.

I love the floating candles and stuff in the clear glass bowls, but along with that, since it is a fall wedding, get some small pots of different colored mums, paint the pots in the colors of your wedding and tie an accent piece of ribbon around the pots. Alternate those with the floating candles.

Get some horn shape glass ware ( there is a special name for them, grr can't remember!) Anyway the one I saw at a wedding had a layer of silk material in it ( matching the table colours) to one side of it and filled with several fruit.

One thing I saw recently on one of the TV shows (either Bridezillas or Whose Wedding...) was crystal (or glass) punch bowls with water and red cranberries in them, then floating candles in the same bowl. The bowls were surrounded by red votive candles.

Small lanterns would be cute, with fake (or real) autumn leaves scattered around them.....a girl I know got married in the fall and her favors for her guests were small leaf cookie cutters w/a tag that said "We were cut out for each other".....

I know someone who used pumpkins and leaves, and someone else who carved jack-o-lantern (they carved them the night before with the wedding party).
