If you want to get technical, there's what? 16 tablespoons in a cup and 3 teaspoons in a tablespoon, so that means 48 teaspoons in 1 cup.

Divide by 3 and that gives you 16 teaspoons which is equal to 5 tablespoons and 1 teaspoon!
