No...You don't reward people who break the law by giving them citizenship. Let them go through the proper channels to become citizens like the millions of others did.

Sure - 1st leave the country. Go to the closest US Consulate and apply for your green card/work visa/education visa. Then come back to the US and follow the legal procedures.

There are people who followed this method to begin with but their cases are being held up due to Illegals. Why should Illegals be rewarded while people trying to do it legally still have to jump thru hoops?

Anyone who does it the right way should be able to become a citizen. That is what the USA is about. Freedom, our country is open to anyone who proceeds correctly. The majority of our ancestors came through Ellis Island reception center,I am sure.

Illegal aliens need to pay the penalty for their crime. The law says that is deportation. So the answer to your question is No.

If they somehow come back as "legal" immigrants after being deported then that is a different story.

all of our families got here somehow. They wanna become LEGAL citizens, then i applaud them. If they want to run across a border and be treated as those of us that went about becoming citizens legally, I say send 'em back.

no, they should come here legally before they demand any rights. When someone does a bad thing, you do not reward them, you punish them so why would this case be any different? I'm Latina but I'm sorry i can't agree with others when they say illegal immigrants should be citizens, why?
