Maybe she judges boys by qualities other than their looks. Maybe she realizes that some guys who aren't much to look at in high school will improve dramatically with age. Maybe she attracts ugly guys with scads of money. Maybe she's a compassionate Mother Teresa type and feels sorry for them. Why don't you ask her what she sees in ugly guys? You might learn something.

Don't sweat it. Sometimes the ugly guys are nicer, because they can't just get by on their looks. What you really want is for your daughter to be respected, and treated good. So he's ugly? Big deal!

Shes pretty she'll attract all sorts of guys. And maybe the guys that you think are ugly just might actually be handsome to her, and maybe she likes that type of guy.

WOW! Luckily for her she isn't as judgmental as her mother! Maybe your daughter has moved past worrying about what someone is like on the outside and instead looks at what the person is on the inside. Maybe she would like to have meaningful, intelligent conversations with someone instead of someone who is shallow.
Hate to say this to another mother, but shame on you! What are you trying to teach her? That looks--or more importantly how others perceive how someone looks--are what matter most?

If she's pretty, smart and enjoys different things and has a great head on her shoulders she's intimidating to young men I'm sure ..

How is her self-esteem? Just because the world thinks she's pretty, she might not think she is. Some of the most beautiful people in the world have VERY low self-esteem, and think they're not attractive. Talk to her about it, and as Mom, see what feeling you get about it......Mom's have "Intuition" you know! Best of Luck to you.

Most girls, even the smart, cute ones like the bad boys. You know tatoos, goatees, piercings. Dont judge a book by its cover. If a guy makes your daughter happy, what difference does it make what he looks like.

She probably attracts handsome guys too, but hopefully she isn't as shallow as you are and gets to know these "ugly" guys and likes them for their personality and not just their looks.
