The book of Hebrews explains this well.
I am not a Jew. I don't follow the Old Testament law. I believe that we can learn a lot from the Old Testament, but we aren't bound to it's law.
I am bound to the New Testament. All the laws of the Old Testament concerning morality are reiterated and expounded upon in the New Testament.
Again, Hebrews will give you an in depth answer.

A lot of the examples people give for this (like everything you cite) are in the old testament. When Jesus came he started the new testament which was a new covenant between God and his people. Thus the new testament superceedes the older rules of the old testament so you no longer have to kick your wife out of the house when she's "unclean".

The previous covenant turned right into a criminal settlement between God and the Israelites. Christians are not any more a social gathering to that covenant, and that covenant ended. God does no longer deal with us illegally, retaining us to the circumstances of a covenant we are no longer a social gathering to. You answer some objections with questions, and by no skill info. There are info of Scripture. some people draw conclusions unsupported through the info. You cite: "the regulation of the Lord is perfect" yet finish, erroneously, that's the former covenant regulation mediated through Moses. The NT exhibits that the religious "regulation of the Lord" isn't that regulation of the OT. The OT regulation by no skill switched over anybody's soul. The regulation of the LORD is perfect, replacing the soul: the testimony of the LORD is optimistic, making sensible the easy. - Psalms 19:7 What converts the soul is God's Holy Spirit, that's equated with being that "regulation" to boot because the hot heart of flesh. .

By your description, you're saying that Christians follow ancient Jewish laws, which we don't. As for the original question, nobody's perfect- all people are born into sin. But that doesn't mean all Christians are, or should, ignore what the Bible says.

Many want the Bible to fit there needs so they can do what they want. Its that simple. Its also known as rationalization. Even when the sripture is pointed out to them clearly they claim various reasons such as traslating errors. Sometimes its just pure willful blindness. Pray.

Those things that you are talking about fall under the Law and Christians are under grace.
Though I still agree that most don't even come close to living the Christian life they should.
I know I fall short and I'm a Christian pastor.

I think you should understand that those were things that didnt result in punishment if you did them. It was really just for your own sake. And if women didnt have proper sanitary products today like they didnt have back then, I think people would still be making their wives sleep away from them during Aunt Flow's visit.
