Of course they DO see it and understand America's appetite for the stuff that instantly satisfies the senses of the average person. Why do you think they've been around for so long. They make money off this type of food. I choose not to eat there and you have that choice also.

The only thing on this list that is available in the UK is the chicken - and only ordinary chicken at that! But I agree with some of the answers here. The reason why KFC offer this junk is because the American people want it. KFC knows this because their menus are based on years and years of market research and consumer feedback.

In the UK there has been a bit of a backlash against companies like Macdonalds and KFC. Fewer people go there now and a few Macdonalds outlets have had to close as a consequence. Even though Macdonalds is offering salads now, people over here are still not being tempted back in. I guess we are finally paying attention to what the Government here is telling us about the health risks inherent in such foods.

While I hate the high calorie simple foods, I have to admit that it's not the governments job to regulate what we eat. I know its a drain on healthcare and other parts of society, but realistically, whats not a drain? All we can do is try to educate people and hope that they eat healthier. Diligence and exercise cannot be taught to most people. Therefore you must force it upon them.

It's what we (me excluded of course) like to eat in this country. It makes me sick. It's about time the FDA steps in and does something about this, but they're not going to because the fatter we get, the more drugs we have to take, so for them, it's a win - win situation.

It's worse than calories. They are in a lawsuit because KFC uses trans fat in almost all their products. Trans fats are deadly when it comes to heart disease as well as contributing to obesity.
