Judging others is a sin, although, being human we all fall short of that! Many may not judge another for this, but they will judge someone for that. To be human means you are automatically going to be a hypocrite. You have to work on it daily, no matter what the situation.
P.s what did you mean on the Pro Activ question about my avatar?

I think hinduism might be an exception to this, but most religions say that their path is the only way to 'salvation' or eternal reward. It would be counter to those religions to say, "hey, I've got my religion and you've got yours and we're both ok."
As for being judgmental, I guess it depends on what you mean by that phrase. My parents are Christian and they certainly believe that only those who believe in the gospel are saved from hell. Is that being judgmental?
I would suggest that being judgmental entails condemning the person you're dialoging with to hell -- which , I think, is counter to the teachings of the bible which says that only God has the right to judge someone in that sense. But the Bible does seem to teach that Christians have the right to rebuke and refuse those things that are sinful. Where the line between rebuke and judgment is thin and is probably crossed a few too many times by too many christians

There are many people who judge others by their religion. Many Christians do this but many atheists, also. I wouldn't be surprised if those other religions have people like that. judgmental people come from all walks of life.
I don't judge a person on their religion but i will be repellent to someone who called themselves a satanist. It's one thing to believe in something else but when someone names their belief after the very enemy of my religion (and according to YA, they don't even believe in), instead of using a different title, I can't be too pleased. But, no. I wouldn't leave them is danger or pain or anything. i would just feel skeptical about being close friends with them.

Ya know, I am a Christian and I do not judge people because I am not the judge, God is. I don't believe there is any one religion that has it all perfect. You are right, many Christians do judge others, they knock other religions, but we will all be judged by our own ruler so we had better be careful with how we judge, better yet, keep your opinion to yourself. You know what they say, if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all!

I do not judge people by their religion or beliefs or lack thereof. I don't judge people at all.. that is not my place. Given that, I don't always agree with their opinions but that too is ok as everyone is allowed an opinion.
I have friends from all different backgrounds, faiths and beliefs.

Depends what you mean by judge. If I believe a person is misled into a false truth I might not say anything to them but I might think to myself about how they got to that point and are they capable of having an open mind to learning about absolute facts. So their is a degree of judgement going on by me.

You obviously have not a clue what "Judging", is even about, my friend.
I would not even pretend to go into detail with you, on something you have ZERO knowledge of.
YES. God Himself, commands Christians to KNOW, who they're enemies are. How? by testing them.
Judging if a person is a Christian? YES. condemning them? No.

I try not to judge people PERIOD. But no, I don't: in fact, whenever I meat someone of another religion, I see it as a potential opportunity to learn.

I don't judge people by religion because I don't want to be judged by mine. It doesn't mean I'm not proud of it. It means that people who misunderstand it might judge me accordingly. I wouldn't do that. I never judge by religion, gender or race.
