If you have the Costco Card use the Insurance Company they offer which is Ameriprise. Really good, they will give you a discount for being a Costco member (if you don't have it, they will still accept you without a problem). They have really good prices (I have 4 cars on my policy - including one brand new Mercedes) and pay only $126 per month. Other Insurance comapnies wanted from me at least $150 and offered way less coverage for it.

Good Luck with your research

It of course depends on which state you are in since insurance is state governed. And it depends on what you mean by "trust worthy" Ask for companies w/ only an A+ rating or higher. They are more financially solvent.
In CA- Wawanesa is a good smallish co. State Farm/ Farmers/ Mercury/ USAA/ Allstate are all good as well.

I have been with Allstate for over 15 years. Since then, my daughter had 5 claims and they did not raise our rates. ***None were accidents that she caused, a couple of claims were her rag-top on Mustang was ripped. My brother is a Personal Injury Atty. and deals with Insurance Companies every day of his life-what does he have to say? "They are all the same!"

Farmers is the best, the price is about the same w/other companies, but what u get is astronomical. plus if ur in an accident, only farmers, american family, and allstate, will fix ur car instantly (1-2days), unlike w.others u have to wait. (5-10days)

Safeco. Good rates, I know how to drive so I haven't filed any claims in my 13 years of driving, but I can assume they would be good in that area too.
