I need help! My hair is naturally really curly. I haven't used mousse in the past, but I just got the Dove mousse for curls. The first time I used it, it worked really well. It held my curls, but it wasn't sticky or stiff. I've used it twice since then, and it hasn't turned out right. My hair gets frizzy easily. I need the mouse for HOLD and FRIZZ CONTROL, not for creating curls. I want it to look good for camp next week. I don't want to have to pull it back.
1. How much mousse sould I use for thick curly hair that falls a few inches below the shoulder?
2. How do I make curly hair shiny?
3. If I use my barrel curling iron, how do I make it look good?

i have this problem, too. buy 2 or 3 differnt kinds of mousee and rotate them. then ur hair wont get used to the same kind, and jsut frizz up, then ur ahir will always look the way it did the first 3 times with dove and u will be switchin, so no more bad hair days. shiny? eat green foods! its true!

Ok, Before you curl the hair spray it with hairspray from root to tip. It wont only hold your curls but it'll keep the frizz down. Try using a frizz serum after you wash your hair to then itll dry frizz free Good Luck with camp
