No , I think the best burgers are made with ground Chuck and then ground beef
There is an old saying in cooking 'Fat is Flavor.
Ground chuck is 15-20 % fat Ground beef is 25-30% fat.
Really lean beef makes really lousy burgers .they tend to be flavorless and current internal temperature requirements [160 F] will dry out any juices they might have had. You wind up with a healthy ,expensive ingredient that doesn't taste good.

Ground beef can be ground sirloin, ground chuck, or ground round, or any combination.

To me, a burger is a burger, regardless of where on the cow the meat came from.

The big difference is the amount of fat. Sirloin is generally the lowest, then round, then chuck, then other.

It shrinks less when cooked, is healthier and I like the taste and texture better.

But millions of years of evolution says "fat taste good"!

When I make my own burgers I like to put spices into the meat to give it a little boost.
i know that some of the cuts of meat are fattier then others so i look for the least fat at the best price.

NO WAY! I always make my hamburgers out of Black Angus ground round and OHHHH MYYYY GODDDDDD! They are so tender and so juicy! Especially on the grill!!!! Geround beef is better for meatloaf though! You get more grease that way!
