me and my b.f. have been going out for 5 months we love each other sooo... much . we tell each other EVERYTHING and aren't afraid to be ourselves .he is very sweet and is my 1st serious boy friend .he says that he loves me and that he has never met a girl like me . is this love or is it just puppy love.??!!i need 2 know .am i wasting my life on something that is stupid or is he worth my time???

You are asking the wrong question. You know what love is. Actually you know what love is to a 14 year old. Take it at face value right in the here and now. The problem is that you are both ready to have major changes in your lives. High school, jobs, college, driving, drinking, drugs, etc. All these things change the very basis of your character. It will change who you love and how you love. Don't expect this relationship to survive these changes, but it might.

You are experiencing infatuation. Do not confuse this feeling with love. Love takes years and years to develop. There is no love at first sight and there is no love after five months.
Do not think that infatuation is bad! It is good, especially when it is mutual. You two seem like you are having fun together, being yourselves, so go with it. What you are describing is a great thing that you are lucky to experience. However, it is not love.

Your not too young but it's probably not love. I ended up marrying my first real bf & later figured out that I was nearly truly in love with him. You change so much without even realizing it. If it's a good realtionship don't throw it away but get keep your eyes open to whatever may happen.
