Depends on what you're into. I personally enjoy Dean Koontz books & don't think I have read one I did not like...although I liked some better than others. I hate romance novels. But some people love romance novels, and so for them, I could not give a good recommendation.
I'm currently reading Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West. It is a good book if you're looking for a popular novel that is out right now.
I bet if you give more hints about what you like, you'll get more answers.

Im reading Susannah's Garden by Debbie Macomber and its really good. but i just finished reading Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas by James Patterson and it has nothing to do with the first book, but its REALLY REALLY good... its from the author Along Came a Spider and Kiss the Girls. Although those are also really good books, they are mysteries and the Diary for nicholas is not, its a love story....i luved it... if you ever do read it, let me know if you liked it.

We'll do a better job recommending titles if you give us some clues. Do you like mystery, romance, suspense, travel, biography, or what??? If you aren't sure what genre you like, just list a few books that you enjoyed. Then we can give you ones like those.
Right now, I'm recommending:
My Stroke of Luck - Kirk Douglas (bio about his stroke)
The Red Shoes (sexy chick lit)
Under the Tuscan Sun (travel/home rehab in Italy)

The Miracles of Santo Fico and Killshot are the latest two I have read. Both were decent.
