Not much info to go on but, sometimes a cat throws up when it is shedding hair because when it cleans itself it gets hairballs stuck in the throat and so on. If your cat is a kitten it could be something else. If it keeps throwing up, take it to the vet.

Hmmm. I had my cat do this a few times. Usually it is from having an upset stomach like us humans go though sometimes from eating the wrong type of food. It could just be a hairball too.
Try monitoring what its eating and check the expiration date on its food you give it - it can go bad just like human food, especially if its can food. And NEVER give it human food. It will make it sick and could possibly kill your cat. Also make sure it has fresh water. Your cat may have become sick because its the summer and it's dehydrated. My cat, however, used to get into the trash like a dog would and eat stuff that we had thrown away.
Also, if you have little children around your cat, watch them. They may be feeding it or making it sick such as making it dizzy by holding them wrong or something.
If those options don't work, try putting it on a better balanced diet, by trying out another brand of cat food specially formatted for your type of cat. Maybe go to Petsmart and see what they say to get??
I'm sure it will become better if you just do that, but if it continues then take your cat to the vet and have them check it out.
I hope I was of some help to you, and good luck! I hope your cat gets to feeling better! ;)

either you have way too much food out for your cat or he has hair balls? If they eat too much they will throw up.
