Go to the sinners.... and have a glass of wine while you're at it. I think it is an awesome place to meet and worship!

LOL. Hey, that would be a natural place for a "bar" mitzvah... hehe.

Let's extrapolate this one for a bit and call it the "Harvey Wallbanger Grog-and-Bloggist Church" [in organization] for now:

No entrance fees or cover charge to join. Yay!

There will be Fellowships every Happy Hour from 3-7pm daily; crackers and hors d'oeuvres will be served for leftover dinner rites while watching WFW wrestling reruns on the widescreen tv monitors; beer and wine will turn into urine; heavy tipping in lieu of tithing is encouraged; dancing and karaoke singing is optional but available all night long; and there will be Tequila Sunrise service for the holdovers the following dawn... And Bloody Mary's will be served for early morning bible study groups.

I think that ought to do it for Organized Religious Sect # 42,666... Anything else?? LOL.

What makes a difference if they are in a bar or a warehouse, or a school, or a living room? If they are meeting for drinks, better a bar than mcdonalds. If to worship, I would think that their would not be a big crowd early on sunday so it might not make to much difference. Either way they are a community sharing so live on.

I was once a member of a GUN CLUB that had a building - it was a bar in the lower level, and a meeting place for AA above!

In my local strip mall, there's a Curves place next to an ice-cream parlor.

In another nearby town, the same family owns a restaurant and a funeral parlor across the street from one another.

Perfect. I would. Actually I believe we have one Sunday.

Not a church, but an anit church group that meets on Sundays to discuss spirituality etc.

Sounds like my kind of church! Many churches serve wine anyway so what's the difference?
