They burn the cross as a symbol of shining the light of the jesus over them all to allow jesus to bless them. They believe in jesus and the bible and in there meetings they read from the bible. You dont see any atheist groups like that now do you? We've got class and you christians don't. The south is just a perfect example of what an all christian area is like.

No, the KKK are not Christians. To be Christian is to be "Christ-like" and they certainly are not, no matter what they claim.

All KKK members may be Christian, but not all Christians are KKK members. What a horrible association, to say that Christians have no class, that in itself shows that you have no class.

And I'm not Christian or any denomination of Jesus worshiping. I do no associate with organized religion of any kind, but I don't go around saying that all of one group is negative. Don't let the few a**'s make you believe that they are all like that. I have met very lovely Christians and very obnoxious atheists.

That has to be the most untrue statement I've ever heard... KKK members may call themselves Christians, but they really aren't. The horrific acts they commit against people, seemingly African Americans primarily, sure as hell is not worshipping God. Burning the cross I feel is like burning the American flag... it's not right, and it's no symbolism of anything good... it's just the opposite. People like the KKK are the ones that turn people away from God, not bring them closer to him. You're twisted if you really believe the KKK are true Christians.

Is a white guys acting black or hispanic actually black or hispanic? It is the same deal. Just becuase these guys call themselves christians doesnt mean that they are. I follow Chirst with every ounce of me, and i hate, and it is ok to hate evil, hate the KKK. I hope the people in the KKK open thier eyes to who the real Christ is. He loves and unites; he doesnt exclude and look down upon someone. I hate racism. Jesus hates it too. So i would argue that KKK are not loving and do not stand for what Christ is so therefor they are not followers of Christ.

Well to answer the question. I think everyone knows that the KKK are Christians.

Did you know that the Taliban was Muslim?

They are called Religious extremist or Religious fanatics for a reason. They are the craziest of a very sane group.

There are hundreds of crazy people who are in jail today that do not believe in God, but since Atheists aren't a group they don't call their crazies fanatics.

"Islamic Extremists are to Islamic as _KKK_ is to Christianity"
I got that from The West Wing.

None of us should judge either religion by their extremists.

You are correct...for half of your argument. When you say "We've got class," who's "WE"? Certainly not the person who, when I asked a question, said "see you in hell."

What about all the websites saying "There is no god" & stuff like that that can be FAR worse? ("Anyone who believes in God is stupid/an idiot/unworthy of life," etc, etc, etc...)

You, however good your intentions may be, cannot speak for all atheists. Sorry, but you've got some wackos, too!

The KKK is to Christians what Al Qaida is to Muslims. They are an extreme element that has little to do with what the religion actually stands for. Most people are aware of that. You must not get out much.

The KKK headquarters is in Michigan dumbass and those people are a very small amount of Christians anyway. We look at them as being the extremists like you see in Muslim countries today.Dont down all people just because they can find some meaning in life unlike you.

Can't judge all Christians by the crazy ones! Just because they claim to be Christians, doesn't mean they walk in the light of the Lord.

You are just as ignorant as the KKK. The KKK are fundamentalists and do NOT in any way represent the majority of Christians. just as those atheists (like you) that constantly deride other religions give a bad name to other atheist/agnostics (like me).
