I'm just wondering because Adam and Eve's offspring all had sex with each other in order to make the population grow. Was that against God?

In order to populate the earth. But later God said that there was no longer any reason for incest. So it later became against God.

They didn't. There were other families. Read in Genesis, about where Cain went to get a wife. The land of Nod. Man (all the races) was created on the 6th day. God rested on the 7th day. Then he looked and saw he needed a man to take care of/tend to the soil (gardener/farmer) and so he created Adam & Eve on the 8th day (or to say sometime after the 7th day). They weren't the only humans. In response, to another answer, Lot's daughters made him drunk and laid with him. He did not choose to, nor did God tell them to. The word for Adam - means "red in the face". Although there may have been incest allowed or even expected from the first generation(s) born of Adam and Eve, God is not ok with later (or current) incest. God's law concerning incest - see Leviticus Chapter 18

The concept that there were no other people but Adam and Eve may very well be wrong.
It says that God created mankind, Adam, and from Adam women kind, Eve, and PLACED THEM in the garden.
Does that leave room for other men and women outside the garden. Perhaps.
If so it was these that Adam and Eve's children hooked up with.
Just a thought.

church and society have made incest incorrect. In actuallity the Bible does not in specific forbid incest. people who quote Leviticus 18 don't comprehend the prohibition isn't against incest yet repeated generations of incest. there are various cases on incest interior the Bible and God became in user-friendly terms adversarial while Algonon raped his sister Tamar and did not marry her. grownup consensual incest must be legalized. even nonetheless in case you experience and have confidence incest is incorrect then that's probable superb in case you do not take part in it.

God wanted men and women to be sexually involved to populate the earth. We no longer need to worry about this, as we are now OVER populated. Maybe THAT'S WHY he made gay people. It IS possible. As for incest - I think that is even against people right here on earth!!

We don't know if that happened. For all we know, God may have created more human after Adam and Eve.

Yes, it definitely is. That was thousands of years ago. In later chapters of the Bible, it discusses the evils of inter-family mixing.

Also, look at it from a genetic perspective, the closer you are related, the bigger chance you have of passing on recessive genes that cause debilitating conditions, so stay away from your cousin!

if you beleive the story of adam & eve and the story that we are all descendants from them then you must admit that all people alive today are inbred. and not just inbred, severely inbred im talking about distorbing, elephant man style inbreeding (althoug the elephant man had elephantitis) horrid looking, drooling, creepy looking creatures.
