Yes, boxing is great because there are so many different styles, and even if someone has mastered one style you can never be sure which fighter will emerge victorious.
It's a one-on-one competition so it's easier to get interested in a match. You don't have to pay attention to twenty different guys in the ring at once.
Everyone has their own favorite sport, though. Usually, it's one that you've grown to love over the years. You've followed some athlete's career for years and just want to keep watching to see what happens. Boxing just happens to be what I've been interested the past few years.

Boxing is great, but since there's no compelling heavyweights, it's not as exciting as it was in the 70's and early '80s. Oh, and itr03? UFC BLOWS! You might as well call it human cockfighting...

yes, sir. i love this sport, with all my heart. i hate seeing the condition its in......and i hope, in my lifetime ( ;-) ) it will see a new hero emerge, who can maybe help get back some of that old glory....
