I'm 29 years old and pregnant with my first child (7 months). I just started having panic attacks (or what I think are panic attacks). I've started having lingering feels that I am going to die soon. I have trouble planning for my babies arrival because I keep thinking that I won't be around to enjoy it. I can picture everyone with her in the future happy except for me. Does this sound like a common fear with pregnancy? Anything that I can take to stop my mind from wondering right abck into the same scenerios?

After resigning myself to a life without children i fell pregnant at the age of thirty five naturally.I had been through IVF and nothing happened then out of the blue i was pregnant i was terrified what ifs? took over my life.So i can understand how your feeling but we dont understand that along with the the euphoria of being pregnant the challenge of becoming a good parent is closely followed .Dont be afraid of the different emotions you are feeling its a major life challenge and the constant hormone changes dont help one bit.Its all part of being pregnant i remember it well so dont be so worried you will feel brighter soon

Look i havent really have that problem cause i am only 13 but i know a person that has a problem kinda similaiar and what makes her feel better is going to church or just think the good things and not bad cause the bad things make you feel like you are having panic attacks. So just think everyting is going to be fine.

Do Not take any Medication whilst pregnant without consulting your Physician. If this option not possible, at least talk to your local pharmacist.

Many medications will harm your child especially during the first trimester, though you are past that. Do be careful

your doc should be able to prescribe something to you. dont feel embaresd to tell him what u are feeling, the more you let them know what is wrong, the easier it will be for him to prescribe you with someything. ive never had a baby, but i am 28 and for many years i had the same fear of dying, its not curable, but with the wright meds, its controlable.

See your doctor. Maybe you dont need any medication at all.
