drinking alcohol? How much wine did he have when he transformed water into wine. Lol Was it the expensive kind or cheapo types?

I think it was cheap. Coz wine tastes better with age.

Just to clarify something...if it was called wine, it was alcoholic...hence wine. If it wasn't wine, it would have been called juice, but since juice wouldn't keep because of no refrigeration, then it had to be "wine" because alcohol keeps with no refrigeration and gets better with age.
Secondly, as some people have pointed out, the wine was the best tasting wine ever...so it had to be the "good" stuff.
And yes, Jesus drank...wine was usually the only thing readily available because, like I said, no refrigerators. Some people just don't take into account history...blah.
But funny question though...lol...very witty.

When he turned water into wine at the wedding, the guy running the wedding complained that you should bring out the good wine first and then the bad, which means that the wine Jesus made was good wine.

And yes, Jesus drank wine with alcohol. It was safer than most of the water in those days.

Maybe this will help clear it up for you..

Joh 2:9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
Joh 2:10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

I wish you well..

Jesse

The water back then wasn't clean. They took water and made beer and wine from it. This isn't anything new. Back in the 1700 and 1800 many places made beer or wine with water that wasn't as clean as our water is today. Google it you may learn something new.
☺
It's OK to drink wine,Beer or any other alcohol. It's abusing it that is a sin

I would not say no to a glass.

If you know anything about the bible and history you would know that the word for wine was mistranslated many times. It was more of a grape type drink that they drank.
