There are going to be people who are going to tell you that it's the lactic acid that made you sore. That has been found out to be false. Here's the link that explains it: http://sportsmedicine.about.com/cs/injuries/a/doms.htm
You can use the muscle but if you're just beginning, wait a couple days. If you continue your exercise program, you'll be sore less and less as you become more consistant.

Exercise a little less extreme than you did the day before. But still do some exercising with your sore spots because that can actually make you feel better faster if you don't go over board and do it just a little.

If you are sore from yesterday, wait until tomorrow and it will be like 5 times worse!
Im a swimmer.. We got a new swim coach a few months ago and we had to do some really intense excercises our first week and the next day, my friends and I couldn't even get down the stairs without pain in our legs and arms. But we all went back to swim practice that day and got another serving of intense (a little easier) excercises. But one of my friends didn't go that 2nd day! On the 3rd day, she was hurting twice as hard as all of us who had done the excercises 2 days in a row.

good day, the answer is certain. discomfort is purely an results of no longer stretching properly sufficient earlier and after workout. do not push your self too demanding yet there is no longer something incorrect with workout sore. be certain that is discomfort and not in any respect a pulled muscle notwithstanding because workout with a pulled muscle might want to reason you to over boost or extra critically tear a muscle in case you at the instantaneous are not careful, notwithstanding move is magnificent for pulled or strained muscle tissues over exertion may reason extra trauma. desire i'd be efficient. Yes. It means you are starting to tone up and put your muscles to use. If you keep exercising, the pain will go away in 2-3 days. If you stop and then continue after the pain goes away, it'll come back and you'll have to deal with it all over again. Plus if you stop, it'll take longer to get in shape because you aren't consistently using your muscles.

it all depends on what muscles are sore, i would say do a work out that has a focus on other muscles and give them one more day to heal, before continuing.

Yes, but perhaps a little more lightly, you may have been going at it a little too strong to begin with. Slow down a bit and take it easy.
