You are Blessed to know god. Some are not Gods own for some reason they choose to go through life in limbo. But remember God loved you first, and we cannot change any one, but our self ,but God can. He changed me. So keep praying for the salvation of many souls.

I believe that religion was created to explain the unexplainable. If you look into history religions of today are just based on religions further back in time. People created religion and god. Before Christianity there was all different religions. Some even involved a virgin giving birth to a baby. Christianity is based partially on pagan beliefs and old world religions. People who are really heavily devoted don't listen to others views towards things. Ive researched this topic heavily especially in encyclopedias and have found that religion is a belief in which to give people hope or a reason to live life. It also gives us a set of guide lines to live by and a false sense of security knowing someone is watching out for us. We are alive because of biological reasons. There is no evidence what so ever in supporting the Bible. Sure you might say there is but check your sources. Most Christians get their sources form christian websites that are obviously going to support Christianity. Many things are distorted and changed in order to get the facts on ones side. God, Magic are they not the same? Science has alot to offer but is also full of holes. The best thing we can do as people is forget these little difference we have Judaism ,Christianity and focus on helping other peoples of the world and in our own countries with Aids, cancer, war, hunger and so on......... If you want to worship a god then go ahead if not then go ahead but stop fighting about it WHO CARES!!!!!!!!!

How can you believe in God?? I'm pagan, a religion that dates back to 1400 B.C.... If you think other religions are freaky, take a step back and look at yours!! Most lets just say "God Lovers" are the ones killing other religions off, trying to wipe out different countries, trying to mold other people into what they think is right.. Causing majority of ALL wars!! Getting away with breaking all ethics.. I can't think of any other priest from any other religion that rapes and molests children can you?? And guess what, all you have to do is say you're sorry and no matter how many bad things you've done in your whole life God forgives you?? Please...

I believe in a notion of God but not the Christian God, and I don't subscribe to any one religion. Does that make me freaky? *shrugs*
Some of us just believe that all religions are man-made, and so don't see the point in believing in them. Some choose to reject religion altogether, and some choose to use religion as something not literally true but still true in important ways, a useful tool to understanding.
If I made up a religion tomorrow, would you see any point in believing in it? What if all religions were that way? Would you reject religion altogether, or would you try to find what truth you could within each? What if each was man-made, but each was an (imperfect) rendition of the Truth? These types of questions are the ones some people ask when they take a look at religion.

Well that's being somewhat judgemental, belief is an individual choice, a calling we are not all called to the same belief systems.
Many times we grow up and learn one's faith or find people that share similar views as their own. If a person doesn't believe in a higher power they are the same physical make up we are just don't subscribe to any religious or spiritual ones. The part in you that couldn't imagine not having divinity in your life is the same one non believer's or Athiets have about believing in divinity..how could they?. Different folks different strokes. It's a preception thing Not everyone has the same experience or would understand in the same way as you. I understand what you are saying though I know my life would be different too, but that's us not them and they are humans too. Just think about it it'd be boring if we were all the same with the same colored eyes and hair, diversity is not so bad. Hold onto your faith and others will too they have the same rights to them we do.

i can live without jesus because i don't believe in the bible. i don't have a religion because i'm a spiritual person. that doens't mean that i believe in nothing. sometimes i question god and at times i don't believe in him. i honestly think it's something human beings made up for comfort. to create an answer for questions such as why are we here ? i was never baptized and my immediate family isn't religious but i am also native american so i have other beliefs that aren't christian. sry to break it to you but not everyone believes a book that could be completely false.

The scriptures (Holy Bible) plainly state that some would rather
believe a lie than the truth. They have rejected the evidence of
God as seen in the created world, and are willfully ignorant of
divine truth, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 1:
18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

The Bible says that the Foolish man has declared in his heart there is no God!!! When a person believes there is no God then God gives them over to a reprobate mind. Which means when people deny God they can end becoming sick people like Lesbians and Homosexuals basically giving into thier own filthy indulgences.

some one may not believe in god because of some of the things that they may have gone through. Let me as you this question? if bad things keep happening to you , and you know for a fact that you do all of the right things. There will be a point and time in your life that you will question is there is a god.

People believe what they want because God gave us free will. We can choose whether we love him or not because he is not a God that forces people to do what they don't want to do. I agree with you being weird that some people wouldn't accept the peace and love offered by Jesus but every one has different reasons. Our job is to teach them that they have a choice. All you can do is plant a seed.
