Responsible.... No responsible people would have switched to nuclear power and electric cars by now.

Carbon dioxide is produced by human activities.

Carbon dioxide traps heat energy in the atmosphere

Hence, Humans ARE responsible on some level for it.

Is global warming as bad as everyone says it could be.... Well thats the problem.. no one knows what will happen.... So... whatever does basicly is going to blindside us.

Oh and to the person above me... who wrote gasses that destroy the ozone layer... THATS COMPLETLY SEPERATE FROM GLOBAL WARMING.

Humans no longer produce CFC's (on a large scale) that destroy the ozone layer, and the ozone layer is starting to regenerate. our current refridgerants are HCFC's which break down in the atmosphere very fast and do not have time to reach the ozone layer.

Yes, specific humans - you in particular - should feel responsible.

I would give each person a global warming index - the sum of (1) the weight of their primary vehicle in pounds and (2) their average level of flatulence in cubic meters of methane farted per year.

Those exceeding an index of 4000 should be required to pull Ted Kennedy from bar to bar for one week via rickshaw. You see, the good Senator needs an especially light form of transportation to offset the second component of his index - which is known to be truly massive.

Yes. Human creation of carbon dioxide and other air pollution traps the sun's heat and causes the planet to warm up. In the USA, coal-burning is the #1 problem and non-electrical vehicle emissions is #2. It is a sad commentary of humanity.

Solely responsible, no - we can't control things like volcanos, after all. But one of the major problems is the increase of the amount of trace gasses in the atmosphere, and that is primarily due to human pollution.

Yes they are the main source of emissions that are destroying the Ozone layer, depleting this layer of protection is heating the planet.

I did hear incidentally that the amount of cattle on the planet is by passing wind are also destroying the Ozone layer.

yes we are the reason of global warming because we are to lazy to walk and we use the car for everything and that's why the big companies have to use more petroleum to satisfy the demand in gas and we are destroying this planet

If we are responsible---then there can be no other influences on our climate than us?

If the MAYANS (and other previous civilizations)disappeared because of climate change---where were their factories, cars and sheer mass of humanity to cause that to happen?

Al Gore is an IDIOT of the 1st order!
