it kinda sounds like a small ulcer - they do usually hurt and you mighta just gotten lucky. i wouldn't be concerned about it BUT there are other things it could have been so tell your hygienist the next time you see her or if it returns- have your dentist check it out- it could be something else- you didn't specify what area of the mouth it was..beside a tooth? cheek? floor of the mouth?

The lining of the mouth is a very sensitive area. It is very easy to tear this lining, even with simple activities like toothbrushing. If there was only one painless blister it is probably no cause for concern, but if more blisters arise, seek medical attention. Of course, if you have reason to suspect the blister may be a problem (ie, intimate contact with someone who also has them) you should go to the doctor now.

There are two types of herpes simplex virus: HSV-1 and HSV-2. Both virus types can cause sores around the mouth (herpes labialis) and on the genitals (genital herpes). Cold sores are caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV).
Cold sores sometimes called fever blisters, are groups of small blisters on the lip and around the mouth. The skin around the blisters is often red, swollen, and sore. The blisters may break open, leak a clear fluid, and then scab over after a few days. They usually heal in several days to 2 weeks.
The herpes simplex virus usually enters the body through a break in the skin around or inside the mouth. It is usually spread when a person touches a cold sore or touches infected fluid—such as from sharing eating utensils or razors, kissing an infected person, or touching that person's saliva. A parent who has a cold sore often spreads the infection to his or her child in this way. Cold sores can also be spread to other areas of the body.

I got clinically diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about six years ago, when I was still attending college and had a stupid one-night stand. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video everything changed https://tr.im/CureHerpes2015si34
Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the man of my dreams. This method provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the whole World.

A canker sore is painful. It sounds like syphilis which produces a painless chancre in the primary stage. Check this out from a medical dictionary:
Chancre: The classic painless ulcer of syphilis. The chancre forms in the first (primary) stage of syphilis. It is highly contagious and can last 1-5 weeks. The disease can be transmitted from contact with the ulcer, which is teeming with spirochetes. If the ulcer is outside of the vagina or on the scrotum of the male, the use of condoms may not help in preventing transmission of the disease. Likewise, if the ulcer is in the mouth, merely kissing the infected individual can spread syphilis.

melimo is right if it's like a white round sour usually to the back inside of your teeth. Then yeah that is caused by stress I went to my doctor and he assure me if a just took it easy they'll go away. The come back every one in a while when i have a lot of stress. Don't stress then and they'll be gone before you know it.

Sounds like a canker sore. Was it a white-ish color, small? If so those are caused by stress and citrus. No harm, just don't stress so much or watch what kind of food you've had lately that may have caused it.

Yes, sounds like the begginning stages of oral herpes. I would check with all your past sexual partners and see a physician asap in order to remedy your awful situation...
