The kind for lightening hair is different from the liquid used on cuts and scrapes. You should go to a beauty supply store (like Sally's) and get it. You need two things the peroxide (usually a powder) and the activator. You mix them in a non-metalic bowl and then use a brush (also at a beauty suppy store) to brush it on all or part of your hair.

Look in the health and beauty section of your local Wal-Mart. It's an antiseptic for cleaning cuts and scrapes. I would try using lemon juice and spending a little time in the sun to get your hair to lighten with a natural look. Peroxide is hard on your hair, it will dry it out and make it brittle.

Oh crap! It will do major damage! It strips the color strait out of your hair and ruins it!!!! If you want to lighten your hair, highlight it, color it or even use "sun in" it is MADE FOR HAIR. Please, don't use peroxide! It may turn it an ugly orange!

It is true about the lemon juice! That is way better then peroxide if you must use a home remedy

It is hydrogen peroxide and you can get it anywear, but it is hard to control the result if you bleach your hair this way. Plus, it can really damage it. I would recommend using actual hair color. These tend to have peroxide in them also but they are easier to control the result and they generally are made to not do as much damage to your hair as straight peroxide. Be careful, you could end up with something that you are not happy with.

Please do not use peroxide on your hair!!!!!! It will fry it and make it very hard to manage. Use a natural lightener. Try this....... put the juice of 4 limons in a spray bottle, 1 tablespoon of olive oil and a tablespoon of water. Shake until mixed. Spray on your hair and sit in the sun for a couple of hours or swim but dont get your hair wet. Do that for a couple of days and your hair will not be damaged and it will gradually be lightened. Hope this helps. Please dont use peroxide!!!!!

you can buy peroxide from almost anywhere like drug stores, WalMart, or even 99cent stores it will be on the isle with the health aid stuff like bad-aids and alcohol it will be in a brown bottle it cost no more than a dollar. I used it for my hair before but you only get great results if you do it in the sun. Good Luck

Peroxide is not what you should use... unless you are wanting it to be frizzy and stand straight up... use a blonde hair dye or something like that
