Yes. Unfortunatley for Eros.....Republicians dont either. Look at the Americans Bush has killed in the past few years. I'm still waiting on the evidence of WMD. Democrats are not as stupid as you might think. I'd rather be an *** than an elephant any day. Martin Luther King was a good man from what I've heard. I dont know if he would be politically inclined for the job. But he sure knew how to make the races come together, just as God intended when he made us.

Not if he turned into a Jesse Jackson.
Chances are that his affair would have ruined his political career. Also, we cannot assume that because he stood for a liberal issue (which many Conservatives supported) that he would join the Democratic party. In fact, when he died and their party started taking God out of EVERYTHING that the federal government supports - I'm sure he would have stuck it to them.
Also, running for office wasn't on his agenda.
So -> No Vote -> for the dead man who would never run.

IF Martin Luther King were alive today he would be retired, and so senile that he would be in an old age home in diapers. when was he shot and how old was he then. His legacy does live on in the persons of C Rice and The General

I doubt Dr. King would have ran for office. He reluctantly agreed to head the Montgomery bus boycott and become the face of the Civil Rights Movement. He doesn't come across as a very public person to me.

MLK was a great man and I'm sure that he would have been a liberal but I wouldn't vote for him because I don't believe the democrats have a plan for anything, especially when it comes to protecting America from terrorists.

He would have been shot again. American government do not like to be embarassed in the eyes of the world that is how they undermine other governments. MLK, Malcolm X, Megar Evers etc.... allowed Americans little secret of racism and social injustice leak out all over the world prompting the government to clean house on both sides.

He would probably not run. Jesse Jackson has is his modern day equivalent & he has learned he is not electable. Far left or right can not get elected because you need the moderates to win.
No I would not vote for him but I would not vote for Rush either.

Good question. I am not sure. I like the ideas he had and the attitude he created in the 60's. However, I don't know that the same platform would win him the election in today's society. I guess to answer your question, it would depend on his platform and who else was running.

If Rev. King were alive today I believe he'd be disgusted with the way we live and treat each other and he would still be fighting for equality. so hell yes he'd get my vote.
