Been in Internet love? For me this is my first time, that I am really, really in love with someone I haven't seen in person. We talk everyday, even we watch tv together. We haven't meet yet cause economical reasons... He's in New York and I'm in Puerto Rico. I just want to know how many of you have been in Internet relationship and if you guys are still together or why you guys broke up? Or may be are my same situation and how it goes. We are thinking to get marry for next year, and yes of course we are going to meet really soon probably July-August.
Come on I want to know some experiences!!! thanks

WOW! I liked all so far.. will be very difficult for me to choose the best answer cause I think everyone answer the best!
I wanted to add that we think about us at the same time, for example sometimes I'm thinking a lot about him, and he calls me telling me he was missing me and thinking about me. and sometimes I call him and he tells me the same.
About he lying to me? Well I don't think so... I mean so far everything that he has told me, I have a proof of it, for example all the things he did for another girl he was chatting and she did something wrong to him, I have his home phone number, his work phone number, his celphone number his address... and even his neighbord address.
I never been in something like this with anyone... LOL
BTW Sometimes we feel really, really close... this is the best experience ever! the only problem we don't have a webcam LOL...

That is sweet. probaly your soulmate. Unconditional love without any attachments or seeing each other and no conflicts. i have a email penpal we have been talking for a few months. on a platonic basis though. but we even got into a tif once in awhile. so it's amazing that you two are agreeing and not arguring.

Open communication builds trust. If you feel that you can trust him and have a genuine friendship, then the next step is to go there and meet him and person and fall in love all over again.
Nothing wrong with internet dating or love either. It really allows us to find out how the other person thinks. Sending a gift to him will also go a long way too.

Well, I don't want to be a critic but just by talking and chatting on-line how do you know how sincere and honest this person is? Heck its next to impossible to know when you're standing right next to the person? He may be just telling you what you want to hear...

I met my husband online. I was in California and he was in Ireland. We talked for 2 1/2 years through email and everday phone calls until we eventually met. He visited me for a month. He back home and then came back 3 months later. The day before he was supposed to fly back home he decided to stay just for me! We have been married 3 years and counting. He is the sweetest most respectful man I have ever met. He left his friends and family just to be with me! :-) He roxx!!!

As rule these things don't work out, and you have the double problem of long distance and cultures to worry about.
Meet him if you must, but be ready to be disappointed in your match.
Chatting online, is totally different from real face to face meetings.

Well hon have you heard his voice, seen his pictures, has seen you, if you are in love OK. But don't give up everything for a dream. He is more like a dream guy when he isnt with you every day. i know a girl who sort of knew this guy, but they didn't actually get to know eachother until they lived far apart over the internet. they've been together for years now. so in a way, they fell in love over the internet.
