Is it a MIG?

This link is to the Russian EXPERIMENTAL test bed research aircraft which is not & will not go into production, but is the only one you could be referring to:

This link is to the aircraft they will atually be building. They will utilize the test results from above in designing the wing, but it will be a normal back swept wing. This will not be in service for many years:

You might recall the US testing a forward swept wing from an F16 base may years ago with this aircraft:

The trick with this wing configuration is that it drags air off the outside tips of the wings across the alierons & in to the fuslage where it is dumped over the tail surfaces. All that causes much greater manuverability, but massive drag. An aircraft with such a wing configuation woiuld need a massive engine, could never go fast, & would burn tons of fuel - kind of like pulling a parachute behind you - but it could turn on a dime. You can see the Russians are 20 years behind us & don't have the money to keep that pace up. They will not be deploying a forward swept wing aircraft. They will be deploying a just barely stealth aircraft with super-cruise to balance our new F22s & F35s coming on line now (F22, 2011 for F35), & they will sell the hell out of it to countries like China & anyone else that doesn't like us.
