If you have a food dehydrator you can make jerky for your dog. My dog has food allergies, and I make duck jerky for her. Or you can take canned dog food, slice it thin, & dry it (or bake it in the oven) to give as a treat.

You can mix peanutbutter with a little bit of honey, roll it into balls, and refridgerate. If your dog likes peanutbutter, it will love these!

There are a few frozen treats made just for dogs. My dog loves the Dogsters brand. They have a peanutbutter flavor, a carrot & cheese flavor, a mint flavor (for kissably fresh breath).

I also order healthy, freeze dried treats from www.petextras.com
They have a wide variety of healthy things to choose from. My dog likes the freeze dried minnows, freeze dried cod, venison jerky, and antlerz (naturally shed deer antler).

I microwave chicken breast fillets, and mix it with cooked pasta and carrots.
Low sodium turkey breast, low fat cheese. Apricots, plums, apples, tomatoes, sweet potatoes.
