If you do not want to damage your hair do not use sun in!!
I have dark blonde hair and I use Chamomille tea. I spray it on and sit in the sun. I f I want it lighter I add lemon juice to the spray bottle, but this makes hair very dry so you really ahve to condition it!!

Try hair products with henna in them for a natural highlighting effect. I wouldn't use lemon juice on anything but blonde hair.

When you are in the sun, squirt some lemon juice in your hair to make it lighter. Alternatively, you can use cranberry juice for reddish highlights! Good luck!

Try lemon juice, and then sitting in the sun for awhile. After you've done that, rinse your hair. And just plain sunlight works miracles too!

Sunshine, peroxide, or diluted lemon juice. Do not use lemon juice straight, it will damage your hair. Both peroxide and lemon juice are helped by heat or sunlight. Be sure to get good instructions if using peroxide as it too can damage your hair.

Lemon Juice will help it lighten but you have to go out into the sun..It wont do it on its own..
They have stuff like Sun-In which will work but I like all natural stuff, so Lemon juice smells good and it will lighten it quickly..
