LOL ! Probably stuck in traffic - you know what it's like when Arsenal are playing at home.

PS I can't believe so many people don't get it.

I have seen two men roughly holding swinging paint pots, dressed in white while running as if to catch a bus of great importance. They ran red faced and panting as brushes for painting pushed their way around their white clothes. This furious velocity would indicate to the casual observer that they should be with you soon or perhaps they were red faced for some other reason.

Think i might be one of your painters pal..........i'll be there in the morning 9am, But if i get caught in traffic we may have to visit the pub first and have a big fat greasy breakfast and a few beers to wash it down. Then if i cant be arsed to do your job i may decide to tell you that i got caught up at my last job!!! Typical painters eh. Good luck hope it gets done soon

They just came by here looking for your girlfriend; I guess they got lost.

They didn't look like they were going to do much painting when they found her, though, if you know what I mean.
