If you are going to hire a lawyer, do your research on them. Alot of these lawyers that say can help you, help themselves to your pocket book.

My husband is immigrating from the US and we decided not to use a lawyer. We have done alot of research and reading and going over the legalities. Try going to your local immigration centre to ask for help, that is what we are going to do. Other than that everything is pretty self explanitory. Find a friend who knows english and have them help you.

Cheers
