Whichever one speaks to your heart and you believe. No one can tell you what path to wander, you have to find it yourself.

The Dalai Lama once said, "The right religion is the one that cures the disease." If your religion doesn't help you, how can it be right for you? And if it does help you, what's the problem?

You can argue Truth until you're blue in the face, but no human can completely understand the nature of the divine. So if you must pick a religion, pick the one that helps you to understand as well as you can.

The response of the Prophet Joseph Smith to the question “What are the fundamental principles of your religion?” contains a succinct statement about the importance of testimony. He said:

“The fundamental principles of our religion are the testimony of the Apostles and Prophets, concerning Jesus Christ, that He died, was buried, and rose again the third day, and ascended into heaven; and all other things which pertain to our religion are only appendages to it.” (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 121.)

Testimony is a sure knowledge of the truth of the gospel received by revelation from the Holy Ghost, as President Romney outlined this morning. As such, it is vital to the soul who would have communion with the Creator. Testimony is vitally important, but men are not saved by virtue of their testimony alone, although it is the beginning of real spiritual progress.

It is a common error to feel that testimony means full conversion. We many times equate testimony with a man’s faith. We say, “He has great faith,” meaning that he has a strong testimony, or we say, “He has a strong testimony,” meaning that he has great faith. However, I don’t believe the two are always synonymous. Faith is based on knowledge; it is a hope in that which is not seen which is true. (See Alma 32:21.) Testimony is revealed knowledge.

No more than one religion can be correct. The one with the best chance of being right is Judaism.

Here's why:

To whom? I am a Mormon, so of course I have a testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel and believe mine is the only true church. I think for people who are looking for the right religion, you need to figure out what is the most important to you... If it is your family, then LDS is the only one CENTERED on the family unit because we believe families can last through the eternities. The religion is not a "cult", not scary, weird or anything. We teach love and devotion to the Savior and to be like him. I believe it is right because I believe that God loves each one of us, his children, and wants us to be happy and that is what this gospel teaches.

I don't follow any religion, as they all say that if you don't follow theirs, that you will burn in hell, and even factions within certain religions claim that about each other. It's far to confusing and comes across as a form of licensed conceit. I think Archie Bunker put it best in the series All In the Family, "Faith is believing in something that no one in their right mind would believe in".

Mormons are the only Christian group I recommend, but Mormonism isn't for everyone. Mormons have to do more than show up on Sunday morning and listen to some blowhard spout off about what he thinks the bible really means.

I'm an atheist and self appointed religion critic.

it is really hard to say which is right and which are wrong. The reason being is because every religion has it flaws. The bible says that religion will send you to hell.

Christianity is the only religion I know of that promises eternal life (with happiness), and features a person who died and resurrected.

There is no "right" religion. Anyone who tells you otherwise is ignorant. You believe what you want to believe, and don't judge others for their own beliefs if they disagree with your's.
