If your hair is damaged, cut all of the damage off. That is the only way to get back healthy hair.

Treatments will put a coating on your strands of hair making it look healthy. The hair will be weak on the inside and fall off at the worst moment.

When you cut off the damaged parts of the hair, what's left is strong, healthy hair. This strong hair gets all of the nutrients from the body and it grows longer and thicker.

If you leave the damage in, the "bad" hair is going to suck up the nutrients, draining resources from the healthy hair, which will make the healthy hair weak.

Prenatal vitamins are good but also there is a product on the market called Mane and Tail. It is a shampoo that makes your hair grow strong and long. It has amazing results. When I was younger and into the "hair bands" yes I am a child of the 80s n 90s metal-lol, a lot of guys used Mane and Tail to get the hair to grow. I would use the prenatals and the Mane and Tail. You can find it most places that sell shampoos. I know for a fact you can find it Walmarts. There may even be a website for it.

Prenatal vitamins work really well. You won't get pregnant taking them, they just have all the extra nutrients and such. Also, for damage, use deep conditioner, like the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle, every other day for two weeks then once a week for a month. After that, use once a month.

There are a lot of products out there that can make your hair stronger. Talk to your hair dresser, she can give you something. I work for a company that distributes for certian companies and I know they all have products for that.

Pull it gently. But you have to make sure you pull only one at a time, and you should pull all of them in a single session.
