If your friends were all over the boy that you like, and you told them how much you liked him how would I tell them to back the H*ll off.

Truthfully, I really can't believe these are the girls you call friends. I have no girlfriends, probably for this reason. You could tell them that what they are doing is really hurting you, but they already know that because you already told them you were interested in him.

All of us have a darkside, all of us male or female alike want to be fought over, or told we are better then the other options. That's all they are trying to do is prove that they are more attractive and/or alluring, and I am betting they are probably only coming off looking slutty or desperate.

Do me a favor don't do or say anything, he's going to figure out eventually how vain and insecure they are the way they are pawing all over him, just sit back be his friend and show genuine interest, don't debase yourself like your friends. He'll tire with them shorty, trust me, and he'll go for the girl who's been by his side the whole time, the classy one who knows what she worth. All guys love chasing a girl apposed to one falling in their lap. And when he does come after you,...make him work for it honey, you had to,...lol

You sound like a really level headed girl, don't sell yourself short,...

First of all, a real friend would like to see you happy, no matter what! Personally, my girls' men are way prohibited and instead of flirting with them, I help them with my friends. It also depends on the boy as well, if he gives them wing, they're going to fly, if he says "STOP" but they won't quit it, then you already know what to do. If he likes me back, and I know he won't be looking on my friends' butt, then I'll ask them to back off!!!

Ugh! I went through this in high school. Your friends are trying to get on your nerves and/or they are jealous. Friendships in high school contain a lot of 'love ya, girl' one moment, and 'I hate you!' the next. Still, you need to judge your friends by their overall character. Are you close with these girls? If you are, you do need to say how that behavior makes you feel, and tell them you'd want them to back off. You can judge by your friends' responses and actions who you need to keep around.

Ask the guy who he likes first. Then when he answers, and he says he likes you and only you, then tell them to back off.

If you've already told them that you like this person the only reason she's giving him attention in your presense is to make you jealous. I'd re-evaluate your friendship. I wouldn't do that to another friend. That disrespectful. Set her straight hun. Good luck

If he can't tell the difference between all of you, and doesn't single you out and come to you, then he's not worth it. He doesn't truly find you interesting enough, or valuable enough, and doesn't respect you enough. To try to make it happen after that is just asking for trouble, maybe a lifetime of hell with a jerk who doesn't truly value you.

i would think long and hard about referring to these people as friends but basically just like you said it here, you can express your feelings but it doesn't mean they will respect them. not to mention it sounds like you need to go after the boy instead of sitting back watching your so called friends do it.

what i would do is dump that friend because if that friend of mine was really a friend and they know how much I like this guy there is no reason for them to be all over him like that but if i wanted to keep this friend but just away from the guy I liked I would talk to them and explain what I just said.. if your really my friend you would know how much i like this guy and know enough to honor our friendship and stay away from him
