Used to be in a pentecostal church, but after seeing the flopping on the floor, foaming at the mouth, revved up music, people talking in jibberish and complete and utter chaos, it was time to leave for a true bible believing church. I found it in the Independent Fundamental Baptist church. What got me the most was all that done, when God isn't the author of chaos.. And then having a woman preaching...that's unbiblical.

Yes, I am.

In regards to indiebaptist's comment, the UPC church I belong to, is a very Bible believing church. My pastor is so coool. His teaching is so Biblically based. Yet in worship we get a little excited when think about what Jesus has done for us. My story is I used to want to commit suicide. For several years I thought about it and I could mention specific times when I wanted to kill myself in a certain way but God kept me from doing it. When I finally decided I am going God's way then Jesus gave me hope, purpose for life, and joy that I never ever had before. So when we sing a song, the words are like this, "....You don't know like I know what He has done for me....When I think about His goodness and all he has done for me it makes me want to shout, shout, shout all night" The other verses end with "...dance, dance, dance all night!" So about that verse, there is a woman who used to live in her car, and another woman used to be so depressed and addicted to drugs. Now they have faith in God, a home, hope, and family. They get a little excited and "run the aisles". I am more a little more reserved so I just sing a little louder (off-key) and lift my hands. I have seen people at basket ball games act more excited then we do. Is there a possiblity to get too carried away and be disruptive? Yes. 1Cr 14:39 & 40 says "Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. Let all things be done decently and in order."
