dogs eat grass if they have a stomach upset. This makes them vomit whatever it was that caused the upset. My dog used to eat grass every day until we changed the food he was on.

Dogs and cats eat grass occasionally as a way to stimulate their digestive system, and it is quite normal, even if they sometimes vomit it back up. The only concern would be if the grass was fertilized or had some kind of pesticide on it, but you can buy it (Cat Grass anyway) at the pet store.

Your (Yorkie) eats grass do to digestive problems so the grass calms it down. It also allows the dog to barf so it can clean out it digestive system, almost like a filter.

Someone asked this before, try searching for it. But I'll reiterate, dogs eat grass to help their stomachs. Its stomach may not be feeling right and they eat grass on instinct to help digest. It's harmless, as long as the grass hasn't been sprayed with pesticides.

I have a Yorkie.
He eats grass a lot when he is sick, or he just wants to.
Um, possibly your dog could be a bit sick(stomachache), because grass helps it either quit, or make them vomit/potty time.
That's all I can help with sorry.

He feels sick to his stomach. Eating grass will help him throw up and get rid of whatever is upsetting his stomach.

it's dog salad, and if she has a stomach ache she might eat grass so she can vomit. but it is good for dogs, if you have an inside dog only, it is recommended to feed it greens.
