You don't pay $.96 CRV for a 6pk in CA, you pay $.24, and you get the money back by recycling. You know, they shoulda just kept using deposit bottles, made more sense.

take the cans to your local recycling center they will pay you what you payed
4 cents for anything under 24oz and 8 cents for anything over 24oz
