Living in a place where the immense heat is draining, my best energy booster and way to get cool is to rinse off the tootsies and hands with cold water. Sounds crazy, but your hands and feet hold a LOT of heat in them. Having a cool or cold shower is very revitalizing -- even just sticking your feet under the faucet for a minute or two helps amazingly. Tried and true! I do this every day!

Lots of water and/or herbal tea. Whichever flavour you fancy.
How about a therapeutic massage. Depends on what you need to do during the day.

Lots of water of course and something that replaces the minerals that you lose. I also relax with my feet in a big bowl of cold water (under dining table)or if desperate I put ice cubes in my bra.

What worked best for me was a combination of LOTS of water (this can't be stressed enough) and small energy bars (ie. balance bars, Luna bars, etc...) I carried with me in my bags.
