Don't you think the issue with gays will become akin to the old issues with black intolerance?

I do not hate Christians, although it does piss me off to hear some of them rant about gays. As far as I'm concerned it seems gays hnave everything but the freedom that they deserve, for it is proven that many gays are gays from birth, stuck in the wrong skin.

Interesting you claim this has been proven. By who? Of what authority? If this has been proven, like you claim. Putting it too votes by the public is discrimination. I have not seen a Federal Court enact this as Proof.
It is a skin alright. A "skin" is a Excuse. a Excuse is:
"A skin of a reason that is stuffed with a lie".
Rights? You have your Rights. You had and made a choice to be gay. You have the Right to have this issue put to vote. You have the Right for it to pass or not pass. You have the Right to have States and people accept it or reject it. Where are you coming up with , "We have our Rights and not gettng them".?
Let me tell you a RIGHT you don't have. You don't have the Right to inact a State to make it a Law for you because you simply want it too happen. You don't have the Right to make manditory Laws without being voted on by the public.
I don't see gay intolerance and black issues even close on the same scale. Gays made a choice of they're lifestyle. Blacks didn't choose a color.
Your Freedom has been granted to you. Who got this for you? Every Military person that ever fought for this country to defend our Freedom. Our Freedom is the Rights, we as a public VOTE them to be.
Your personal problem comes from politics, not Christians. A lot of Christians are voters, They have the RIGHT, that you speak of, to vote as they wish. It's called, freedom to vote. Right to vote.
Good Question. Have a good week.

No offense, but as a black-hispanic woman, it almost makes my blood boil when someone compares "the issue with gays" with the plight of black people.
There is no comparison whatsoever, and frankly, I am offended when gays try to hijack the plight of my ancestors to further their aims.
The gay lifestyle involves a BEHAVIOR, not something innate like skin color.
Besides, since when are gays a persecuted minority?
They are more affluent, better educated, and hold more higher-paying professional jobs per capita than any other minority group, and even more than the US population at large.
Clearly this has never been the case with black people -- rendering the comparison even more off-base and outrageous.

That has been the history of most bigotry, even though even in the case you mention we haven't come nearly far enough and the ignorance surrounding the subject is huge.

Yes and the whole world is corrupted with following man made laws instead of God given laws.
Now we suffer chastisement for it.

be who you are and embrace it, if someone judgeth you rebuke them they are not your judge, Jesus and his father are. Take it to him yourself and let him show you. And you can do that anywhere, it doesnt have to be a church.

Homosexuals want to be considered different and they want to push the rest of us around and change our laws and institutions to suit their minor subset of society.
