The natural order on Earth that people have gotten used to constrains us to think locally.

Infinite complexity emerges when the mind opens up a little to allow for a universal perspective.

The fact that we are in the world not of the world explains how we should live our daily lives. If we were of the world then we could go around with riskey behavior, die, and then it would be over. It seems very shallow, no? On the other side we have that we are not of the world, we are of God. We are just at a stop in our journey. We must realize that there is yet another life waiting for us (wherever that is is between God and ourselves). We must love acording to God in this world if we are to be with him in the next. A wise man once postulated about whether there was a God or not. His conclusion was this: If there is a God and I follow Him for the rest of my life, then I I will join him in heaven. If there is no God, but I still follow Him, then I live a fulfulling life and die. That's it. If we are murderous or evil then there is the chance that one may spend eternity in hell. So why not be good? The point is life life to it's fullest, with God. He is life. He is love. He is all happiness.

how's the " If I have a soul this must mean there is a God"
Are you limited in your options? How about you have a soul and that means mroe pwoerfull being created you . May be that powerfull being was created by GOD or by another powerfull being who was created by GOD.
Its false logic and you know it.

Fot the true Christian believer, our home is with Jesus. He is not physically in this world now.
The believer is like a foreigner traveling in a strange land...wanting to go home; waiting for transportation there.

That sounds familiar.
From a spiritual perspective, it means that we are here temporarily and that we are not bound by this world. It implies that we are greater than we know.
The statement has no bearing on my life.

It's talking about a world system...you can live in it and not be a part of it. Kind of a parallel to a belief system.
