Bottomline is this, if you have already told him no and the reason why AND he continues to persist, the "friendship" is over. He will NEVER be able to see you in anyother way and needs to be jolted back into reality with hard facts. You are going to have to be blunt, direct and a little harsh. It may be hard for you, but in the end---worth it!
Good luck!

ok sometimes us girls just need to do what is right, you are not dating anyone or anything so go out with him, give him a chance to show you who he is , maybe you dont have a spark now but what if you will when you realy get to know him on a more personal level, and find out that he is exactly what you need in life, are you willing to give that all up just cause you dont feel like there is a spark? you cant feel the spark sometimes till you give it a try. just tell him that you dont feel a spark but that you are willing to go on some dates with him and if say 4 dates later there is absolutly nothing there then tell him you will just have to be only friends. i mean what can any of this hurt, it wont. but you have to try and have a good time, make the best of the dates to realy get the feel of how it would be to maybe be with him if you ever end up feeling for him in that way . just give the guy a chance or you might be saying later on i wonder if .....

Be honest with him and let him know that you just don't feel that kind of chemistry between the two of you. And remind him that it is not your fault, you can't force yourself to have romantic feelings toward him. As for remaining friends, I personally do not think that a good idea if he is smitten with you, it will just increase his pain that you can not return his affections. If you give him even an ounce of hope, he will hold onto it like a drowning man clinging to a floating branch. Be kind, honest but firm. It's a hard thing to do, which i found is one of the reasons guys say "I'll call you", and they don't.

Just tell him you think you're better as friends. He will know that's not the real main reason but it is the best you can do. You also might want to apologize for stringing him along as long as you did.

Just tell him the truth about how you feel about him.Don't tell him 'i have to go ut with family' or etc...then you give him hope.Tell him that you just see him as a good friend , nothing more.
He'll be angry at first , but later on he'll appreciate your friendship.Good luck.

Just tell him you're not into him or that you have a thing for [fill in the blank] guys. For example, say, "You're a great guy but I just have this thing for tall guys. " or black guys or something the opposite of what he is... Usually if you tell a guy that you're into guys of another race they will quit bothering you...
