I got a call from an old friend .He is a very popular medium.I am christian and do not need to contact any loved ones.He says he can just sit and talk with me on a social basis and not get any loved ones coming through.Is this true?
Or if they are coming through to him as he talks to me could he be ignoring this because I dont want to talk to them?I want our friendship back but do not fully understand .Please help.

I am an intuitive; some would say medium. I do readings of people along with dream analysis and other spiritual healing modalities. I, myself; wait for anyone (deceased) to come to me that would be willing to come through . It's kind of complicated but I will try and explain how I do my readings.....most people that I know do not do them this way.....mine are very intuitive and personal. I do not do readings at the fairs.
If I know a few days or a week before I am going to do a reading for someone; that I am going to do it; I get information psychically from day one, usually. This I type out for the person. Sometimes their deceased friends or relatives show me things or give me messages........sometimes they don't. But when they do..it's quite amazing.......even if I have never been to their house before...(I do house readings) I sometimes know the layout...I know who has passed over and at what age they started getting sick... and how they passed... and also alot more info..
however, that is not your question:
the answer is this...........we do not always make contact, nor does someone always make contact with us; it is really always up to "the other side." we have no control as to when they want to make contact.

Mediums generally channel spirits while in a trance. If your friend is going into a trance while you're talking to him, you must be very boring indeed. (Sorry, couldn't resist. I don't mean it, it's just a joke!)
But seriously, if he doesnt have control over spirits talking through him, he's got some serious problems he needs to address. Chances are, it's just your friend you're talking to. If I was channelling spirits all the time randomly, I wouldn't be able to function in the real world and I hope someone would love me enough to bundle me off to the psych ward.

Yes, I believe this is true. He has the option of listening to them or ignoring them. If your friendship is important to you, and you state you are a Christian, then don't be offended with your friends gift. I'm sure he didn't ask for it.
And he probably is helping others deal with loss.
Would Jesus be offended, or overlook it? Hope this helps!

You need to work this out with your friend . Your friend would only tell you something if it was very important.
And for all of you out there who wonder. Those on the other side either pre -earth or post-earth still love and care for those still on this earth plain.
