I would smirk and throw it away.

Read it ... smile and never mention a word of it to anyone else. What a way to make the secret admirer wonder!! Maybe next time he would think twice about leaving an unsigned message!!

First, I would make sure I was sitting at the right desk. Then, I would look around to see if any of my male co-workers were snickering or laughing, or watching me intently. Then, I would strip down to my boxers and dance on top of my desk, knowing that whoever wrote the note would be so enthralled that she would have to stuff a dollar in my shorts as I grinded to "Doncha" by the Pussycat Dolls. Then, I would go to lunch, probably Subway.

There are a lot of sick people out there. You don't want to encourage this type of behavior. I would post the note on your office bulletin board or send an inner office memo to everyone.
I would say that I didn't find it humorous or proper office conduct to place that note on someone's desk. Then I would nicely ask them not to do it again.
That way you have let everyone know you don't accept this type of behavior and you have told them you received the note. Then in the future you can fall back on this incident if needed.
I would not let it go.

I would smile and put the note in my pocket. Then, I'd write on a post-it "Thanks," and leave it where I found the first message. I'd leave it there over night and throw it out in the morning. There's really nothing else you can do, since you don't know who it was, whether it was a joke or serious, or whether you'd want that person to think you were hot in the first place.

Find the girl that you think is hot and leave it on her desk. If it's the same girl that left it for you, then you'll get the hook up. If not, she'll like you because some other girl is after you. Well, that may not happen, but hey...

i would look around and see who might be into me. Then i could ask him. if he says he didn't write it then you can have him and/or some really good friends help you look for the mystery person. if he keeps giving you letters then he might end up giving himself away and you can either consider him or tell him that he's a nice guy but is just not the right guy for you. If you are unsure of what to think then give him a chance and if he suprises you then you could keep him but if he's just too weird then you can get tell him that he's not the right one for you and that you would like to just stay friends.

If it was me personally i would try and look at everybody's writing where I work and compare it with that of the note
If you do find out who wrote then confront them
