A sin or not

Jesus apparently drank it (Matt 11:19The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and "sinners." ' But wisdom is proved right by her actions.) so it's not a sin. Addiction to alcohol on the other hand obviously is, it's a form of idolatry.

I don't drink in order to not offend my US Christian brothers and sisters, if it weren't for that I probably would.

It's not a sin -- otherwise, Jesus never would have changed water into wine at the wedding feast in the Gospel of John.

Drinking alcohol in itself is not sinful -- provided that we don't get out of hand and engage in drunkenness, which is a sin.

No it isn't a sin. If it had been would Jesus would not have changed water into wine to help celebrate a wedding?
The sin would be becoming 'drunk' and not being in control of your-self. Remember all things in moderation!!

Noah was God's favorite human and the savior of the human race during the great flood. He owned a vineyard and got naked and drunk in the Bible. God didn't have a problem with that, so how can wine be a sin?

Depends on which kind you get, fermented or the unfermented. God says to stay away from the fermented stuff, see proverbs 20. The kind you should drink is the unfermented, or new wine that is found in the cluster, or pure grape juice.
