Yes. I use to be a baptist. Then scripture itself grew in importance. Now, it is untenable to be a part of any congregation on the planet given the adulterous posture of them all.
It isn't funny anymore. Now it's more a noisesome pestilence.

Not sure of what you mean by hilarious, but as a former Catholic, I love the Southern Baptists. They teach the bible, as it is written, not as they interpret it! I love the music, preaching, teaching, sunday school etc> Is that a good enough answer?

Yep. I live in the south and have been to a Baptist church a few times and also raised but don't practice Catholicism. My favorites are the words of wisdom on their signs out front. In one vacation area I saw "Remember God sees you on vacation too". Or another good one was a bumper sticker "Surfing for Jesus".
I really don't mean to offend anyone. It's just that I find these things funny.

Yeah some of the stuff is a perplexing. I went to a southern baptist wedding once and no one was allowed to dance. I did not understand why, not even the chicken dance. I guess they think it's witch craft.

I used to be a Southern Baptist and I consider them extremely dangerous.

Anyone seriously studying Christian denominations should not be this disrespectful of our Christian brothers and sisters.
Try to find Christ in everyone (including yourself) and try not to judge others.
