Ask your friendly neighborhood Dentist! He'll have your smile in tip-top shape, unless your lips need work, in which case you'll need a plastic surgeon.

Seriously, though, if you practice smiling at yourself in the mirror for 3-5 minutes a day, like after brushing and flossing, and think happy thoughts, if not romantic ones, you'll discover the secret to a winning smile - believing that you're an A-OK person with a lot to offer.

If you try this little trick and develop that belief, people will not only smile back at you, they will talk to you with more respect and honesty. Or at least they will like you better.

Let me know if this helps or not.

PS. If this isn't about your own smile, then what to look for in another's smile is warmth, in their body language and eyes. If they don't have that, it's a fake smile, or they have an agenda they want to get something from you.

Actually, before we humans discovered that we had the ability to form words and speak, mother nature gave us body language...a smile was actually a signal of friendship or non aggressive attitude...if one person smiled to another, and in particular one sex to another sex, then the initiative was instigated....of course on the other hand....a great smile could be some semblance of the Venus fly trap as well

Smiling is infectious;you catch it like the flu,
when sumone smiled at me today, i started smiling too.
i passed around the corner and sumone saw my grin
when he smiled i realized i'd passed it on to him.
i thought about that smile then i realised its worth, a single smile, just like mine could travel round the earth.
so, if u feel a smile begin, dont leave it undetected
let's start an epidemic quick, and get the world infected

Sincerity, a good person, etc. -- that's all fine and good. But what makes a smile great is good teeth.
